The 2025 Volkswagen ID. Buzz is equipped with a 91kWh battery and offers the choice between RWD and AWD. RWD models feature a rear motor with 282 hp, while AWD models have dual motors and churn out up to 330 hp. Needless to say, you don’t have to sacrifice performance for efficiency—the ID. Buzz lets you have both.

Electric range plays a key factor for most Savage and Lakeville drivers when choosing an electric vehicle.  Fortunately, the Volkswagen EV lineup is known for its impressive range. 

The 2025 Volkswagen ID. Buzz is no exception to this, boasting roughly 275 miles of all-electric range depending on the configuration. When it’s time to charge, the ID. Buzz can go from a 5% to 80% SOC (state of charge) in approximately 30 minutes with a DC fast charger. Here’s what we have so far on the Volkswagen ID. Buzz range and charging times:

  • Charging Time From 0% – 100% SOC (AC Charging Using 11 kW): Around 7.5 hours
  • Charging Time From 5% – 80% SOC (DC Charging Using 170 kW): Around 30 minutes

The European version has two rows and a shorter wheelbase than the three-row version sold in the U.S.
